Batman: The Widening Gyre #6: Wow. This has been a series which has taken a while to finish, the first 3 isses went somewhat smoothly but from then there were gaps which could span 6 weeks or more. I thought this would kill the ending of this story but hey, the ending still was a slap in the face in a good way. I think this last issue has it's own standalone charm. It does link pack to previous batman stories by Kevin Smith but even back to great tales like batman: Year 1. This has been a bizarre story which was going so well that it seemed almost to good to be true and would come crashing down. Just read the ending.
Justice League: Generation Lost #7: It's an interesting one and if this series does things like this once in a while, I will continue to read this series. The break off to show the reasons behind his hunt for Lord. Also, reading the original JLI run makes me more fond of this series. It's a decent one which is one off but has potential to be explored.
Thor #612: Right, I haven't read thor since the start of the strazynski run as I was budgeting comics and I have been recommended by many sources to do so. I also should have read the start of this story or maybe I did but wasn't really concentrating as this is a comic my brother bought. So Thor wants to go to hell and because of this is brings him into contact with the usual thor/underworld characters that even I know. this is part 2 so would seriously go back to part 1, or the start of siege or dark reign or pretty much to the start of the strazynski run. seriously.
Uncanny X-Men #: Very happy, or maybe I just thought it was at the time. I haven't got it around me at the moment but it was a story ultimately of hope with some interesting links to other series I'm reading at the moment (see young avengers: children's crusade).
Wolverine, Weapon X #15: And with this issue, I stop. I got into it, it had a decent start with Wolvie in the madhouse but the next story was long and pointless. pretty much the conclusion to the "terminator story" which I honestly didn't care about. had an all star cast and ended it alright but the truth is, I started this series on a whim and when money gets tight, It's going to get the cut.
